BHE Services (Bolton) Ltd was first established over forty years ago. Founder Ronnie Wilkinson quickly built a reputation for the quality of his work and his focus on customer care.
As a dynamic and innovative business, the focus has always remained on growth yet the core values of quality and customer care still remain at the heart of the organisation. It is a family business and this vested interest enables everyone to have a profound appreciation for quality, care and respect. Indeed, this philosophy can be seen to resonate throughout the company to all staff at all levels.
With their core values in mind, BHE Services has always considered the best and most fuel efficient option for customers. In more recent times the company has proved an unswerving commitment to energy efficiency by launching a Renewable Energy Services Division.
In any area of the business BHE Services always ensure they fully comply with legislative and technical criteria. To this end, BHE Services were one of the first contractors in the North West to achieve MCS accreditation along with ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) for renewable energy services. The company has used this ‘platform’ to further build it’s ‘green’ credentials.
On receipt of a confirmed appointment, our Surveyor will visit to undertake a thorough survey. No two properties are the same and therefore any proposed solution offered will be tailored to suit the customer’s specific needs and the associated features of their property.
Following the inspection, a detailed quotation will be prepared. A technical expert will be available to discuss the proposal at the customer’s convenience. Again, BHE Services’ experience in customer care has proved that it is critical to impart information in a way that is easily understood by all sectors of the community.
Upon acceptance of the quotation, and payment of a deposit, the Surveyor will agree a convenient installation date with the customer and place an order for the materials. Typically, the installation will take between 1 to 3 days from start to finish, from experience any disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.
On completion the customer will be presented with a ‘Solar PV Handover Pack’ that will include documents such as MCS certificate, electrical certificate, building regulations compliance certificate, commissioning documents, final invoice and customer satisfaction report.
BHE Services will also include an application form to register for the Feed in Tariff, completed on the customer’s behalf.
The ‘Renewable’ industry can appear quite complex to the lay person. As part of the service, BHE Services will be available before, during and after the installation to clarify any queries or offer advice. This continued support will include the final registration process to claim the ‘Feed in Tariff’. BHE Services will also deal with planning consents with the local authority, and notify the electrical Distribution Network Operator of the customer’s final connection to the grid.
The system will require very little maintenance, although the customer may wish to clean the panels once in a while. However, BHE Services can provide costs for an annual service to carry out a full test and inspection to ensure the products are performing within the manufacturers guidelines should the customer require this service.
The installation will be provided with a desktop monitor as standard but smart metering solutions are available on request if needed.
